I Forgot My Neopets Username Code
Feb 01, 2011 The requests comes from the 'forgot your username' option in which you have to fill in an email address. If your email address is very plain or simple it might be that someone mistook your address for their own. You've clicked on a link that will take you outside of Neopets.com. Why is my account frozen?
Accounts are only frozen if you break one of the rules of the site. Minor infringements are alwaysgiven a warning first. Usually when an account is frozen, it is due to one of the followingreasons:

Can you change your Neopets username?
No, I am afraid once an account is created, that is what it will be known as. If you really don't like your username you can create another account with a better name.
I have changed my email address, how do I update this?
You can only do this if you are over 13 years of age, or you have sent in the parental consentform. Click on 'Help' in the yellow side bar. You will see an animated button that says changeyour password/preferences. Click on that button. Now you can enter your new email address. Youwill need to enter your password in order to change any of your personal information.
I have more than one account, will I get frozen?
You are allowed a MAXIMUM of one main account and up to four additional accounts that can be usedas galleries, etc. You are only allowed to use the once per day activities such as Coltzan'sShrine and the Tombola with your main account.

When I signed up I didn't realise my real name would appear
Simply click on 'Help' in the yellow tool bar, then click on the 'Change Your Password Often'banner. This will take you to YourPreferences, where you can change your information as well as your password.
I entered the wrong email address when I signed up, can I change it?
If you entered the wrong e-mail address or made a mistake when you typed it, you cannot change it. I am afraid you will have to sign up again.
How do I view/change my details?
To see what details other people can see when they look up your account, type your username in thesearch box (this is in the yellow side bar). You can change what your profile says on the User Prefs page. To get to this page,click on Help in the yellow bar, then on the Pink Bruce at the top of the page.
